The Glenn Phillips 5 Game Throw-Out Sweeper

The Glenn Phillips 5 Game Throw-Out Sweeper is a tournament held monthly at Lakeside Lanes. Our Tournament Director/General Manager, Glenn Phillips, started this tournament in 2014. Since then, it has grown to average about 75 bowlers per event.


Format:

Bowl 5 games; throw out your lowest game. (Best 4 out of 5)

Handicap is 90% of 220.

Tournament average is established after 20 games (Five events).


Cost:

$40 for either division: Handicap/Scratch

$70 to enter both Handicap and Scratch


This tournament is typically held on the third Sunday of every month.

Check in is at 12:00PM; Practice starts at 1:00PM.

The Lakeside Lanes Senior Sweeper

The Lakeside Lanes Senior Sweeper is run with the same format as the Glenn Phillips 5 Game Throw-Out Sweeper, except it is only open to bowlers aged 50 and older.


This tournament is typically held on the first Sunday of every month.

Check in is at 12:00PM; Practice starts at 1:00PM.

The Lakeside Lanes No-Tap Tournament

The Lakeside Lanes No-Tap Tournament is our least competitive tournament held here, and is also one of the most fun!


Format:

Bowl 4 games, 9 Pin No-Tap Style (9 counts count as a strike!)

Handicap: 80% of 200


Cost:

$30 per bowler

For an additional $3, enter a 300 pot!


This tournament is typically held on the second Sunday of every month.
